Born on April 12th, 1971 in West Germany, Ingo Rademacher led a relatively normal childhood. His parents encouraged his free spirited nature, allowing Ingo to excel in a wide variety of activities.

When Ingo was 8 years old, the family moved to a 400 acre ranch in Australia which Ingo and his sister, Anne, helped run.
In high-school, he played rugby, sang lead for a rock band and, already an experienced equestrian, continued to develop his dressage and jumping skills.

In college, Ingo began working for a modeling agency which led to the first step in his new career. Ingo won the lead role of Sean Hayden in the Australian prime-time series, Paradise Beach.
At the same time, he began his training for the Ironman Triathlon, a grueling test of athletic ability and strength. He also became a certified lifeguard, a massage therapist and raced sailboats and motorbikes (sponsored by Honda).

In 1994 Ingo moved to the US, and, in January of 1996, he landed the role of billionaire Jasper "Jax" Jacks.
The initial purpose of his General Hospital character was to break-up super-couple Ned and Lois, but Ingo's own natural charisma and charm showed through in his character, leading audiences to form a unique bond with Jax.
Instead of breaking up Lois and Ned, Jax fell in love with Brenda Barrett. Determined to win her love, Jax took Brenda on a whirlwind trip full of romance and adventure and, in doing so, created a permanent place for himself in the town of Port Charles and in the hearts of fans...

Aside from his television role, Ingo remains true to his athletic self, playing volleyball, surfing, skiing, running, swimming, kayaking and has even taken up basketball.
